There is nothing better than a warm and hearty breakfast pie in the cold of winter. We put this one together so that we would have a quick and warm breakfast to eat before heading out for quick day trips to see our family over the holidays.
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup heavy cream
4 pieces of bacon-diced
2 pieces of ham steak-diced
3 green onions-diced
5 oz mushrooms-diced
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and prep a pie pan with butter.
Whisk eggs, heavy cream and cheese together and add salt and pepper.
Brown the bacon in a large pan and then add ham, leek, green onions and mushrooms. Season with pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until everything is tender.
Add hot ingredients to the pie pan so that they cover the bottom completely then pour the egg mixture over the top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden and the center is cooked through. Let cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!
Low Carb Cheesy Jalapeño Biscuits
This new recipe was a great addition to our southwest grilled tri tip tonight. It’s primal and keto friendly which makes it even better! I am so looking forward to seeing what else I can do with these guys!

Grilled Steak and Oven Roasted Asparagus w\Parmesean Cheese
This was a quick and easy dinner to throw together after getting home from the gym. Just throw the asparagus in the oven coated in olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper while your steaks cook. When the steaks are done, pull the asparagus out, sprinkle some parmesean cheese on top and put back in the broiler for a few minutes. Delish!
Cooking up ground beef with our homemade taco seasoning is a great way to always have something delicious on hand and keep us from eating out when we are hungry and short on time. We tried it earlier this week as lettuce tacos but they proved to be pretty messy so we turned it into our own version of burrito bowls!
